We wanted to create more than just a walk. A chance to breathe fresh air, explore the beauty of the Wildfowl Trust, share a picnic in the greenery — and then sit together and actually create something beautiful, side by side.

No rush. No screens. Just nature, paint, and the kind of morning your little one will be talking about long after the paint has dried.

After you register

Here’s exactly what happens next

You’ll receive an email with payment details and your estimated total.
Your vehicle number plate is required for entry to the compound — make sure it’s accurate when you register!
Art materials are all provided — just bring yourselves, your snacks, and your good vibes. We handle the rest.
Once your payment has been confirmed, you’ll receive a final confirmation email with everything you need for the day.

What to expect

A morning made for creating together

A guided nature walk
We start with a relaxed, toddler-friendly walk through the trails of the Wildfowl Trust. Birdsong, fresh air, and wonder all around.
Picnic time in the open air
Settle in, open your snacks, and breathe. A gentle pause to rest and take in the surroundings before the creativity begins. Don’t forget your blanket or picnic mat!
The paint-nic activity
Guided painting in nature — no experience needed. Art materials are provided. You and your little one create something beautiful, side by side.
Toddler-friendly pace
We move gently, stop often, and let the little ones lead. Every child is welcome, including sensory-sensitive little ones.
Community & connection
Meet other parents in your community. Share the morning with people who get it — the laughter, the mess, and the magic.
Food & drinks on site
Snacks, drinks, and popsicles will be available for purchase on the day. Bring your own too — it’s a picnic after all!

What to Bring

Pack for a full outdoor morning — walk, picnic, and painting:

  • Snacks & drinks for you and your child
  • A blanket, picnic mat, or low chairs for the picnic portion
  • Sunscreen & insect repellent (outdoor event, 10 AM – 2 PM)
  • Water bottles for the whole family
  • Old clothes for everyone — paint may happen and that’s the fun!
  • Comfort items for your little one (favourite toy, hat, small bag)

  • Art materials are provided — no need to bring anything for the painting activity
  • Not a fitness walk — we move at a relaxed, toddler-friendly pace
